Haldi Catering That Fits the Morning

Haldi is the most hands-on function of the wedding week. The family is busy with the ritual, relatives are arriving, and the bride or groom needs to be ready for the next function in a few hours. The food has to be fresh and light, served on time, and easy for people who will soon be covered in turmeric.

Shree Ram Caterers has been catering haldi ceremonies across Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad since 2016 as part of more than 1,900 events. Call or WhatsApp +91 73037 57884 – we are open 24 hours, so an early muhurat is not a problem.

What a Haldi Menu Usually Looks Like

Welcome drinks: aam panna, shikanji, thandai or chaas served as guests arrive – cooling drinks matter on a summer morning.

Breakfast or brunch: poori with aloo sabzi, kachori, chole bhature, poha or a paratha counter for families who start early.

Haldi lunch: paneer dishes, a seasonal vegetable, dal, rice, raita, salad and breads – fresh and not too heavy.

Sweets: moong dal halwa, gulab jamun, jalebi or rabri, plus mithai for the ritual.

Satvik menu: many families keep the haldi food without onion and garlic – we prepare a full satvik menu on request.

Haldi Décor From the Same Team

  • Marigold backdrop – yellow and orange genda phool backdrop for the ritual and the photos

  • Seating for the bride or groom – a low floral chowki or decorated seat with space for family around it

  • Flower shower – petal baskets and a phoolon ki holi setup

  • Floor protection – mats and covers so turmeric does not stain your home or the clubhouse floor

  • Photo corner – a small framed corner for family pictures after the ritual

Planning Tips for a Haldi at Home or in Your Society

  • Fix the muhurat first – we work backwards from it so food is ready right after the ritual

  • Keep it close to the ritual area – guests should not have to walk far with haldi on their hands

  • Plan for a quick change – most families have Mehndi or Sangeet the same evening, so keep the haldi meal light

  • Book the clubhouse or lawn early – society spaces fill up quickly in the wedding season
